MY LT-40 fits in my Jeep YJ 4x4, which unlike most compacts has no folding back seats for extra trunk space. Slide passenger seat all the way forward and tilt all the way back flat. Fuse should sit on this platform no prob. Wing should sit leading edge down diagonally from passenger seat to aft left corner of back seat. May need to utilize some foam for protection, but otherwise it will go.

Oh ya... you'll need to strap the wife to the roof rack[X(]
