When you put your blindfold on, or shave the brand names off the side, you can not tell the difference between the Magnum XLS 46 and the OS 46 FX. Other than the crappy nickel cylinder liner on one, of course. The parts interchange. One sells (sold) for $120, and the other is often on sale for $70. And since the less expensive one has the chromed liner it's not only approx a 45% discount on the other, it is a lot better quality.
I have never heard of an ABC engine shelling its liner.
OS liners regularly go out the exhaust port.
Pimping for Magnum? No. Pimping implies illicit sexual activity. That's what happens when you buy an OS. And this "ABL" OS is bragging about is just another way to say ABN. Forget it.
Too many good engines with ABC liners at 1/2 to 2/3 the price of OS. Use your head. Buy an ABC engine.
