Default RE: .46 2 Cycle Recommendation

Of all the previously mentioned .46 size engines that I have experience with, The GMS has been the only dog. It made good very good power but dead sticks were too common. It would not shut down so I replaced the bearings and siliconed the carb throat and backplate. This helped for a week or two but the problem resurfaced. It was easy to start, but would flame out during transition. MECOA was no help at all when I called a couple of times for help. I finally gave up on it. The TT and the OSFX have been without problems and provided exceptional power and consistant performance. I just ordered the Magnum .46xls for $69.00 from tower. This looks like a very good deal. It along with the TT comes with a 3 year warranty. That's pretty good.
