Lord, I will research this further. Right now the only way I can see it is that at high RPMs, as in take off, the blade will flatten out to around a consistant 6 pitch across the prop, providing more torque. Once in flight and the throttle is lowered the blade will go back to the 10 pitch, as if shifting to a higher gear. But that does not seem to be consistant with the engineering of this model as all the maneuvers this plane is intended for are performed by flying off the wash of the prop and the supplied torque of a lesser pitched prop. Again it is only my guess and I will persue this quandry for you my friend. I will leave no stone unturned. To the ends of the earth!!!! I wonder if I could stop by J Dubya's on the way? Joe
