It's funny, in a large sense, everybody has the same experiences. I had a maiden flight that went about 200 ft. 100 feet straight up, and 100 feet straight down. I left a screw out of the elevator servo arm. It was on my third airplane, so I should have known better. But unfortunately I learned the hard way about thoroughly checking my planes before flying.
