Default H9 CAP 232 Wheel Pants

I have an all-white version of the 1/4 scale H9 Cap. The manual shows a long bolt with nuts and spacers for the axle. There's a ply plate tha goes inside the pant. The axle bolt and a locating bolt go thru the landing gear, the pant and the ply plate. However, my model came with Dubro 3/16" x 2" axle shafts, or equivilant, instead of the hardware shown in the manual. The problem is that the threaded portion of the axle isn't long enough to go thru the ply plate, the pant and the landing gear.

I'd substitute a bolt, etc, if the hole in the LG wasn't too big for that unless I come up with a bushing to go in the hole. I'm going to fly it wuthout the pants at first but eventually I'd like to install them. Guess I'll call Horizon on Monday.

Anyone else run into this? If so, how did you deal with the problem?

TIA,

CR
