I have just been reading the notes tucked in with the JR 8511 & 8411 servos and was surprised to read, "These servos MUST NOT be operated on 6V, 4.8V ONLY. I remember from an earlier discussion about servos that some fliers were using 6V. As I normally do as the instructions say I am now torn as to what battery to use. I wonder if there can be damage to the servo over a long period of use. I would like to use 6V as the futabas require 6V to get the rated torque.
