Default RE: best setup for 8 ch. receiver??

My setup is as follows with the same equipment that you have.
1-Left Aileron
2-Left Elevator
3-Throttle
4-Left Rudder
5-choke
6-Right Aileron
7-Right Rudder
8-Right Elevator
Battery is Y to choke and throttle or to left and right aileron, replacing the receiver aileron extensions with a Y

Hi people, I'm getting ready to assemble my Hanger 9 80" Cap with a 3.2 Brison. I haven't purchased the servos yet but they will be good digitals on all control surfaces. What is the best way to use my 8 channel pcm 148 receiver. I have a 9C radio. I've read that the use of an elevator servo reverser sometimes can create interferance problems, so that will eat up 2 channels. Also, do I need an airborne kill switch? If so, there goes another channel. I haven't decided on batterys yet but was leaning toward a redundant setup until I read a post by Mike McConville(sp?) saying that two battery packs on a plane that size is weighty and probably overkill. Any suggestions on a safe an reliable setup would be enormously appreciated! Thanks in advance
