Default Why A Gyro on a Jet ?

Jack,

I dropped on in an F-16, nose gear only. it tracked dead n*ts on the centerline and saved my wingtips from brutal runway dances. I think the more narrow tracked aircraft benefit from them for ground handling. then there are the 'roos which really benefit. your F4 probably wouldn't get much out of one, but somewhere down the line when you plane would rather swap ends then go straight, you'll think about one.
