Running an engine inverted.....problem?
This is my first inverted engine run. It is an old engine which i took off from my trainer plane so there are no run in problems. Engine is a WMB 40 ( german engine from the early 90s) now sitting in a cap21.
The fuel tank center line is same height as carb. Upon tuning the engine the following are observed:
""tune for high rpm at ground level is Ok but upon lifting the nose the rpm drops.
So i back off the high speed needle and try again. The rpm at level is not peaking but when i lift the nose up the rpm peaks.""
when carb is fully open there is fuel spitting out as it is in inverted position.
any checkpoints would be appreciated
