I have tried even Taking the router Out of the circuit and had Only my sysem runnin with my own ip in the router and On Win XP
Did you disconnect the router or not?
1. I would go in and release the IP within the router settings
2. I would unplug the router and put your DSL modem directly into your computer
3. Click Start=>Run=>cmd
4. type
ipconfig -release
5. Hit Enter
6. type
ipconfig -renew
7. Make sure you still have internet connection
8. Try G2
