Setting control throws
Hi,
I am building a Kosho .40 Cap 232.
They give recommended control throws measured in milimeters at the trailing edge of the control surface.
Here's the problem...
Since the elevators and rudder both have taper to them, should I measure the control throw from the widest chord area of the control surface or at the narrowest point. They would give rather different results.
It would be much easier and clearer if they gave the control deflections in degrees as it is a absolute measurement regardless of the location you measure from.
Any suggestions? I have heard that the elevator throw on this bird is rather critical.
Thanks,
Glenn
