Well after many weeks of waiting, my 11 year old son soloed his Alpa 40 this past Saturday. I don't know who was more nervous, him or I. He did great! The real flight simulator works. We did have to change a prop because of a bounced landing, but oh well. I'll let him get good enough and then he can teach me.
