Default RE: Madness 2. ARF?

The new Madness is shorter in the nose, longer in the tail, the tail surfaces are cut like a Synergy at an angle, the fuselage has more side area, the canopy is a little longer and forward set, the wing is raised a bit with a small belly pan, the cowl is given some form with cheeks, and the airplane is a little bit lighter. The wing is almost the same with the exeption that the ailerons go all the way to the tip. ZNLine wheel pants are included in the kit and the mounting system works very well.

My set-up includes: Futaba 9550's all around for controls with long Dubro arms and ball links and MK control horns with Futaba 3102 on throttle, YS63 with tru-turn spinner and ZNLine titanium (very light weight, very strong) security bolt set, 4.8volt 1400mah Futaba battery as far back as it would fit (a small Mi-Mh in the tail at 6.0volts would be better for servo speed and power and make the airplane 2 ounces lighter by saving tail lead weight but I am not complaining). Braced tail with 6 point cable attachment and clear Oracover to seal the aileron and elevator hinge gaps. It makes for one incredible 3D stunter suitable to fly in shows for great crowd entertainment. Flaperons are the only mixing I use so far and dual rates for calm to wild feel. Keep the gaps open on the control surfaces for a good 60 degrees throw each way and seal them up. Fast and solid servos are a must for really wild and snappy flying. Standard servos will result in a flying sponge with blowback on the ailerons guarenteed causing a lower than desirable roll rate at higher speeds. CG at 40%-42% gives the best results for hovering and flat spinning manuvers.
