Default RE: Nitro Drifting Good/Bad?

The problem with nitro is the heat problem. When running at WOT down a street there is ( or should be ) plenty of air flow over the engine. This has a cooling effect as you probably know. However, when drifting your RPM is very high ( as the wheels are spinning very fast ) however you arent going very fast due to lack of grip. The result is that there is very little air flow over the engine...resulting in high temps. There is also a clutch issue...but I dont know enough about clutches to go into details. perhaps someone else will clear that up for you.
