cookies take up very little space actually. They are just tiny text files that contain settings for you to see certain web sites correctly. Some contain username and passwords. for example. www.rcuniverse has put a cookie on your computer to remember your login credentials. Another example is websites that store settings such as stock portfolios . The only drawback to deleting all of your cookies is that some websites you visit might ask you to re add login credentials. This will show every program that loads when your computer starts up. if you uncheck a program, it will not load up when your computer starts, but will not delete it from your computer! This can be a little intimidating, and if you are worried about hurting something, get your 6 yr old child to help. If you don't have a 6 yr old, borrow the neighbors.
