Default Sig Mid Star 40 as second plane ???

Quick question.....I'm very new to this hobby and in fact went up for the first time last weekend But I'm interested in having a second plane ready in the "hangar". I'm interested in building to pass the time while I'm learning to fly. I do have building experience from my control line days so it shouldn't be a problem. I've read a ton of threads on the 4* and how good it is for a second plane. What about the Mid*40 ?? I know it's a mid-wing vs. a low wing, but by looking at the pictures, it looks like it lacks the dehidral that the 4* has (I could be wrong). Has any one flown this plane and the 4* to give me a comparison? Is it a good performer compared to the 4*? I'm not opposed to the 4*, I just like the way the Mid* looks. I don't want to get ahead of myself as I am still very much a newbie, but I would like to get an early jump, plus I always enjoyed building my control line models so I know I will enjoy building RC models as well Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a bunch

Adam
