RE: HELP: Brison 3.2 Tuning
Thank you, Bas.
Regarding Zenoah engines. I've installed them in other peoples' planes, run them in other peoples' planes, and flown them in other poeples' planes. Other than that, I have no experience with Zenoah engines. I don't know anything about their metalurgy. I do know they run forever. I do know that they are heavy for the horsepower. I do know that they are reliable. But about the way they are made and why they suggest one kind of oil over another, if they do? I don't have a clue.
I have run Brisons'. I own Brisons'. I have installed Brisons' on other peoples' planes. I have flown Brisons' on other peoples planes. Due to my liking of Brison engines, I have taken the time to get to know a little bit, not all, but a little bit, about them. They are reliable. They are not terribly expensive. They run forever with a little care. They do not like heavy oil mixes. They will tell you all about it when you do it. They are relatively light. They have excellent power output for their size and weight. They run cooler than a few of the others. They have a great warranty. They are made in THIS country, not someone elses. They have good service. They are friendly people. They even answer their phones. I think that about covers it.
I'll only tell you what has worked, and continues to work well, with the engines I know something about.
Have a nice day[8D]
