Well it sure as heck doesn't hurt to have one around. You never know, you might need to put out that cigarrete some doofus is holding over your plane as you fill her up. You know, there is always somebody that doesn't listen to your polite requests not to smoke near the planes. Consider it "cheap" insurance in the God awfull event of an accident.
