Gents: Thanks for the helpful info!! Particularly the photos on cooling("a picture is worth a 1000 words"). I'm using a std GWS 4-channel receiver and I was a bit concerned about positioning it around the battery in case it should work loose. My Whatt Meter shows 100W with the MPJet 25/25 motor, 9X6 prop, and the 8-cell 1100mAh pack I got from H-L. May not be as spirited as y'alls planes, but it's a starting point. And, yeah, I've not got the 3-bladed prop (yet), but at least I "painted" my APC prop black with a permanent marker. Carlton
