My Yak that is powered with the Axi 2212/34 is right around 14 oz, and it is UNDERPOWERED ! It will hover, and will pull out, but not like it should. I agree that 12oz is about the heaviest AUW that you would want with this motor. Anything over 12-13oz, you will just have a marginally flying airplane.
