Default RE: FIREBIRD COMMANDER

Heya Maio,

Since the Commander is only a 2 channel, you cannot use "up elevator" as you normally would to execute a loop. What you have to do is basically trick the Comander into looping.

Here is one way

First get some altitude - a couple of hundred feet at least would be best. Then head into the wind under about 1/2 throttle. Then goose the throttle to start it climbing and as soon as it starts up, cut the throttle to make it stall. Once the nose drops and it starts down goose the throttle again - if it stalls again - repeat the proceedure so you start getting increasing climb/stall behavior out of it - eventually it should go over the top.

Another way.

Get altitude and then crank it into a hard turn so it starts to spiral down and build up speed - then correct the spiral and give it full throttle - it may go over the top that way.

Last way

Get it to stall and head into a dive and then give it full throttle to make it climb. As it climbs use right-left-right-left (keep this up) as fast as you can so you are simulating an up elevator movement.

What you have to do to make the Commander loop is find a way to build up your speed and then essentially depend on the lift of the wing to create a loop.

Reinforce your wing first or it may fold up in a high g manuevre. And fly it in the advanced mode.

Also, beware that it will come out of failed attempts at high speeds and erratic, unpredictable, and severe angles. Make sure you have learned how to just fly it well before you try all this stuff or you will surely play lawn darts.
