I own a brushless motor myself.

Not everybody is prepared to run brushless motors or wants one. In race situations brushless motors are great but on some tracks they are a handful and one can actually be faster with a brushed motor.

I must say that if you can set up your car to achieve its desired traction that the brushless motors are in a league of their own.

With that being said, there is room for brushed classes as well as brushless classes.

Brushed motors are not yet on their way out and still have a place within this hobby.
