Default RE: Super Emeraude

The full scale Super Emeraude is an all wood home built designed by Claude Piel. There are many variations. My rendition of a 1/4 scale Pinocchio, also designed by CP, was made from the WM Emeraude. It's powered by a TT .61 Pro spinning a MA 12 x 7 prop using a SonicTronics 310 plug and 5% Omega. The high dihedral makes it a challenge to fly inverted, otherwise it flies gracefully as a swan and will fly backwards in a bit of a headwind.
I simply re-covered the top of the fusilage and re-designed the fin and rudder and added a pine mounting block for the landing gear.
Be advised that the elevator yoke-type pushrod wires require that they are trapped internally to avoid flutter! Otherwise the model will balance without additional weight.
