oh yea i forgot to mention. all hitec digitals will handle a fully charged 6v nicad pack (comes out to about 7.2 volts peak) with no problem. they are designed to be able to handle it. i really think your answer lies in digitals because they simply fit the application of "3D" better than standard servos. they will center better and hold their position better as well. they will be lighter than giant servos that are comprable torque wise and stronger than smaller servos which are comprable torque wise. the 5925 digital hitec makes is faster than a lot of micro servos but has the same amount of torque as 2-3 standard servos combined. 3d and pattern are really where digitals shine.
