Mark, this could be very well be right up your lane. Considering this is your first nitro, my first instinct would be to recommend a trainer. A student at our field was in the same position of transition and he went with the new ultra stick, now with the 3D tail feathers. That .70 would be right at home in it and the plane performs remarkably. I flew it and it does it all. In stock from Horizon @ $129.00 Also from Horizon is the new Twist 3D which is a bit more pleasing to the eye and so far has gotten great reviews. @ $99.00 The UCD .60 is quite a flyer but don't let it kid you, it will bite you in a heartbeat.
