She was a fine piece of work that left our skies much too soon, she will be
missed by all of those that saw her dance. A bright and beautiful little
creature that was impossible to miss, with bright green wings and a yellow
Fuse. The distinctive orange underbelly ensured that she always knew up from
down and her hand made shocks set off the distinctive lines that ensured
that she was one of a kind.
Sunday 30 May during the second flight of her 3rd year Ms. Speedy Bee left
us all too suddenly.
The final moments were quick and beyond anyone's ability to cope.
The Cause; Flutter induced into the Horizontal Stabilizer by high speed - it tore the
Stabilizer off as She pulled out of a Split S.
Given the grace with which she lived and the way that she enjoyed her life
it seems a fitting end to her all too short life in the sky.
She will be missed, and remembered.
Fear not for already her newborn is growing, from this disaster we can learn
and strive to correct the small flaws that lead to her early demise. In her
memory we will rise again.
You can kill a Bee, but you can never kill the spirit that made it.
