Default RE: Jetcat 200????

ORIGINAL: Doug Cronkhite

The P-120 is more than enough power for the Kingcat and it will EASILY run right up to 200mph. Just my opinion, but I think the P-120 is the best choice for the KC.
FYI, we have been flying Kingcats for a NASA project with the RCATS telemetry system. We see 195+ in level flight and I've hit 225 in a low pass after a 400 dive of about 40 degrees.

Also, I've seen BV's original Kingcat fly several times with the P160, and I agree, its sporty. However, saw Dustin flying that same airplane at MidAtlantic jets and I commented on the performance. Dustin told me that they had a problem with the P160, and that it actually had a new P120 on it - I really couldn't tell the difference...

I agree that the P120 is an excellent option for the Kingcat.
