Well, I've been thinking it over and I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the Aqua Jet. So I have a few questions. I can only afford the 550 version. I'm guessing I'm going to want to get a new motor soon. Do I need any special mount or anything? On Off Shore Electrics it looked like it needs a special mount for a 700 size motor. Would the inside be easy to water-proof? It's hard to tell where everything is mounted. Next: the "shell" that goes on the top; is it just held on by those two pieces of Velcro? For got to add these two. With the 550 motor version does it use two batteries? And lastly; is the speed control that comes with it a mechanical speed control?
