Default RE: Want to rant

The main thing to keep in mind on the forum is that you have to weigh what and who you are reading from. There are lots of informative posts out here but also a lot of trash by people that have no experience.
I can almost close my eyes and click on a thread and find a post with advice that is lacking experience or just plain wrong. It is great for people to try and help but if you do not know then just dont offer or make it clear that you are offering an opinion. That is basically what I look for , if I see a post about a particular model I look for "when I had this car" or I have owned several of those" before putting any weight to what has been written. Statements made without experience waste space and peoples time on the forums and are basically null.
When it all comes out in the wash it really does not matter what model one has, if they are happy with the performance then it is probably one of the best models out there regardless of the brand or price. It is amazing how some people will bash on models they have never owned or in some cases never even seen.

Just keep in mind what I call the sift factor and the forums are a great place with lots of great information. I learn more everytime I visit and sometimes I add to the info too.
