New to electrics. I've got a Watt-Age battery with a Tamiya connector that needs to be changed to a JST connector to go on to a Great Planes Electrifly micro radio set up. Ordered male JST plug with wires with the package. What is the best way to get the JST connector on. There is a significant difference in the wire gauge on the battery pack than the wire that comes on the JST plug set. (Battery has larger gauge wire) Do I cut off the Tamiya connector and splice the wires?
