Here's another interesting piece of info. I also talked with Mr. Wolf who built the R2 replica inquiring about paint numbers. He told me that on the replica they used black for the trim paint, but they later found out that the original R2 used dark blue instead. I'll bet you could have trouble locating color pics of the original R2. Also the fin is offset by 1.5 inches (I'm assuming to counter torque) to the left immediatly behind the canopy check it out on knife edge photo graphs.
