I have to admit that I'm a long way away from doing a KE right after lift off with my Pitts. I'm just happy to get it going straight down the runway without going into a TR from a dead stop. On my first gas project thats exactly what happened. I didn't know about easing the throttle up. Heck, I just let it rip as I got her rolling just as I do on my other planes. Whew, I had the wild thing on my hands, but survived. I just wish I knew how to do that under control.
