Default RE: Super Flying Models Eindecker

ORIGINAL: airmaniac

i thought the tail weight may be making it climb? but i did leave it a tiny bit nose down on balance. at first i adjusted the elevators because i had to use too much trim down on them.
What else I though of airmaniac is... How many Washers did you put behind the engine mount? I used 2 behind the top and right side if you are looking at the front of the plane. It wasn't enough and I went to three. I think the instructions call for all 4 in each. I know it looks extreme but they are needed. After I put it up to 3 it flew much better.

Epoxy; I would go with the .52 because it is perfect for this plane... The four with it's low end torque fly the plane great at low speads...

Just my opinion....

Chevelle flys his on a 40 LA and does a great job...

Pic uf Chevelle and me taxiing out to fly in formation at Sunday Fly in Show...

Off the subject but today had a maiden flight on my New GP Fokker... Talk about a RUSH... Still haven't come down... Flying it is a little akward because it handles different, but it is sooooo much fun...
