I'll bet that if you move that CG back to where it is suppose to be your landings will be smooth as silk. Certainly for sound a four stroke is the way to go. You don't need more power than the 46 though.

Also, check those wheels. I had one that got pretty wobbly and takeoffs were a bear until I fixed it.
