Tower Hobbies 46 is a good engine at a reasonable price, as are the Thunder Tiger and the Evolution 46's. I've also heard some very good things about the MECOA 46.

I would suggest not buying the 46LA only because it seems about half the people that have them, have trouble with them.

I would also stay away from MDS and GMS engines. Very many people complain about them.
