Default RE: Capiche 140

\Agree not to use Nylon on UC too risky. Kit supplies 5mm Metal which have worked fine for me...

Speaking on which I have just come in from the workshop after another late one...

Covering complete.... Spent most of the eve on the cowl with the dremel.... nearly there just to cut out any bits for the motor...

Hatori incowl scale smoke muffler (wont use smoke) fits lovely jubbly and looks the dogs with the ZN mount... will forward pics when I get a mo.

A tip - if you are going for rear mounted elev servos like me they need to be moved forward up to 1/2 inch as the servos interfere with the tail plane a tad in their current positions (either that or notch a 6x 4 mm section out of leading tail plane at root.)

Whats left !?
Engine re install and final cowl prep and fixing
Installation of the internals
Install of external servos/rods / horns etc
Final Dressing.

Installation always takes me twice as long as I expect !

I thought the colour scheme I did was growing on me now I dont know again ! I guess I can make my decision when I assemble it all - leaving that til last minute as my workshop is too small to be winging it around with everything attached !

One other Jersey C140ex is almost finished too....

Hey Baron---- France is gonna be a Capiche Test Fest !
