I could just get a friend to throw it off a steep slope or something (loads around here as well as some high rocky outcrops that would be perfect). Can I use any high-wing trainer aircraft as a glider? Only some have proper landing gear which would make for a softer landing.
BTW, the thought of ailerons rather than a rudder is that I think I'm right in thinking I'll be able to perform a lot more aerobatics with aileron control. I can just (is it yaw?) spin the plane on it's axis and use the elevators to turn etc.
