In my short flying life, I started thumbing... But after the first couple
flights I changed to pinching with two fingers at bottom of trans and
one just above the L.G/Flap switches. I seem to like that feel, And I
do have better control (at least of the sticks).. But I must admit
my left hand thumbs alot...

Guess it's just what feels good to you!!

Thumbing was good for me, except in a panic mode of dis-orientation
or 6 point landings.. I tend to over correct then... But my wings stayed
together... But my nose did get whacked and dis-lodged... So now I'm
not really sure what I do...
