Default RE: O.S. 46LA vs 46FX. For Trainer & 2nd.plane

The LA is a low powered bushing engine...the FX is a high powered ball bearing engine right? Yep. Power is not an issue. Reliability is the issue. I've had the LA and the FX and an ASP and a Tower, and a Veco, and, and and and the list goes on.

Yes you can get the LA for about $61.99 and the FX for$109.99, a difference of $48.00. Darn near the price of another engine. But let me put this out there. I promise you that if you buy the FX, you will be happy with it for at least five years. If you buy the LA you will buy another engine within two years, and that engine will be a pricier BB model, maybe not the FX, maybe a Thunder Tiger ($89.99) or even a Tower ($74.99) and if you add it up 61.99+ new engine = $151.98 you are now over what you would have spent with buying the FX.
