I agree with prebres... that LA will not stand the test of time. In fact, many many of my friends that were attracted to the cheap price yet rock-solid brand of the O.S. 46LA. They would have raving reviews for a while then all stop using them. The reason mostly is the lack of power after a few trips to the field.

On the other hand, the FX of new AX is one of the best 40-46 class engines of all time. Unlike blwblw, I have never had a deadstick with my 46FX. All my flying friends swear that if they had the cash, they'd not think twice to buy one. The FX is legendary...
