Default How to get ch 6 on your hitec 555 receiver

I modified my hitec 555 receiver. I did not want to use a y cable to run my ailerons so I could use mixing. I have a hitec eclispe 7 ch radio with the spectra module. With the radio ch 5 for the 555 is used as the retract ch and I tried to mix it with the other ailerons ch but no matter what I tried I could not get it to work.

My friend and I found a schematic on the 535 receiver and it showed how to break out the ch 6, 7 and 8. We went ahead and solder a wire on the 555 so now we have ch 6 so we can have separate ailerons so we can do mixing. I have another post asking if you can mix ch 5 with ailerons and people said it can be done but it won't work with my radio well at least I can't get it to work so we went ahead and broke out ch 6 and it works perfect.

We did it to my 555 and 2 of my friends that are building mini's. It's so easy to do it takes less then 5 min to do. We cut up a y cable we had and took one end and solder it onto the 555 its so easy and works perfect. If people want me to post a pic of it let me know I do not have the camera right now but I will have it later. If you want to do this mod I will post a pic and you can see how easy it is to do.
