Default threadlocking

hey, my crazy "friend" thinks that you shouldnt threadlock,(in metal parts) that i wrecks the screw holes. he had a screw fall out and i told him to threadlock the metal parts but he says he's not gunna bother and that screws only cost like 5 bucks. i tried to explain to him that its not just the screws he's risking losing. "whoop there goes my engine" so heres the poll, should you threadlock metal parts
