Xup, right now I'm adding another 5 oz. to this already 8 lb+ plane. I built a few before and they were all pretty close to spec. The only way it would be a 7.5 pounder is with the use of all the cheap hwde. supplied. The concensus shows all 4/40 rods, ball links, HD control horns and 5 cell-6 volt battery, it helps with the balance. I chose a pull/pull on the rudder. It adds up. Joe
