Ah, Dave, sorry about mixing topics on this thread. I have just come to know and respect you guys for your opinions. Fuel dots, or fuel valves are all the same with the only difference being the airplane. This applies to the UCD as well. Like you, Joe, I have always used fuel valves, but after having one fail on my gasser I decided to listen to those who have had problems with them unless I have to use like with the UCD. I decided to run a third line in the tank by tapping the third hole in the stopper on a Dubro tank. I simply tapped the hole, ran another line with another clunk in the tank and installed the fuel dot. Now I will have no problems with flooding for sure and probably saved a few teaks of poundage. I'm still not into punps anor fuel regulators so far.
