Thanks Kaz, boy do I feel dumb! I just went and looked at the plane and what's in the box again and sure enough, there is a wood pushrod set up to take two wires in one end. I assume that you just bend up the wires so that the two tines of the "fork" are the same distance apart as the holes in the rear fuselage and then just slide the pushrod straight back in the fuselage and hope that the wires find the holes? I wish I had asked before putting that stupid joiner in but it would have been nice for Phoenix to at least mention the way they intended it to be done. Thanks again for the help!
