Just because the heli will hover doesn't mean it will auto. You should set up throttle hold to get a good engine idle and about 10 degrees pitch on a Concept 30 and you will need some fairly heavy blades. I learned to auto with a Concept 30 using G blades which are not aviable anymore but the foam or wood jobs will not hack it on that machine. Start your first autos from a hover and get a feel for how the pitch can stop the heli. Forward flight is a different ball game but it sounds like you are not there yet.
