Default RE: are any of you scared to fly?

A friend of mine said, if you didn't want to crash, you wouldn't fly.
I have spent countless hours building plastic kits that just sit on the shelves, but whats the point, sure its a good sense of achievement but noone will see it fly or do anything cool, it just sits.
I fly a Spacewalker now and it's my first own plane (I shared a Boomerang 40 with my dad) and every time I fly its I get sooooooooooooooo nervous its not funny, to the point where a couple of times it sits in the pits not getting flown at all. When I do fly it I get more and more confident every time I do. I flew it the other day (flight number 7) and I did 1/4 of a tank of circuits then starting doing some aerobatics which normally I won't be game enough to do in my Spacewalker. I fly it almost every weekend now, but mind you things always go wrong, like underarige falling out, deadsticks to end all deadstickness (5 out of 7 flight deadsticks aint bad I'm a pro now), pitts muffler constantly coming lose.

THE BEST WAY TO OVERCOME A FEAR IS TO CONFRONT IT and IF YOU'RE GOING TO PANICK, DO IT SLOWLY
