Default RE: Best starter jet?

One thing I still dont get about this (Jets) aspect of the hobby...

There are those who build and fly models for the enjoyment and exitement & thrill of doing so. Then there seems to be those who think the more money they spend makes them somehow superior... I fly my AV8R and Super Reaper in the middle of no where, here where I live, and enjoy it. They are not awesome looking multi thousand dollar scale birds, or the high end ARF's (which I dont have anything against either, for thos who decide to go that route) but they certainly fly well, and do what I need them to do.

What has resale value have to do with anything? WHen I purchase a plane the last thing I am thinking of is to sell it...

Something like the large Facet, the DV8R or other kits are all viable options today. I recently saw multiple King Cats fly, and they are indeed awesome. Also saw many Roo's, a Rookie and other sport jets (Tango, etc) and all flew really well too.

If I had a 120 looking for a home right now, I would go with the DV8R. Next choice probably the big Facet. If money wasnt a problem I would go for a Kingcat. But only because I saw three fly and they are awesome airplanes. Not because they are expensive.
