crashland, I think Antique's question is referencing the fact that the weakest signal comes off the tip of the antenna. Similarly, this is why you can get different distances during a range test depending on how the transmitter/receiver antennas orient with each other. Different items in a model may partially block or reradiate the transmiters signal, becoming one of the reasons a range check is important.
